About the Event

The event will focus on the Fetlock module that uses clinical case presentations and demonstrations to explore some of the most common conditions of the Fetlock, Tendon, PSL, & Carpus that practitioners deal with in everyday practice.

Conditions reviewed include fetlock diseases, digital sheath tenosynovitis; digital flexor tendinopathies; suspensory apparatus conditions; and carpal joint and canal conditions. Special emphasis is placed on the rational corrective shoeing of the different conditions using kinesitherapy shoes.

This year’s NAEP conference will take place at the Saratoga Fairgrounds, New York on 24th & 25th September.

PES offers a unique opportunity for learning, leisure and networking to equine veterinary practitioners and industry professionals from near and far.

The Pelvis module uses clinical case presentations and live demonstrations and aims to improve the diagnosis and management of pelvis pain and injuries in the field. The module provides 20 hours of instruction and includes three hours of practice on live horses under the supervision of certified instructors.

The AAEP Annual Convention is the world’s most comprehensive continuing education event devoted to equine practice. Registration will open in summer.
